Why Ruam Jai Exists
The name Ruam Jai — which carries the sense of hearts coming together — reflects what the practice has always been about. When families face legal questions, the practical and the personal are rarely separate. Paperwork, procedures, and legal structures matter, but so does the weight of what a family is going through. We keep both in mind.
Ruam Jai was established in Bangkok to serve individuals and families who need legal guidance on sensitive personal matters: arrangements following separation, questions about children, asset and inheritance discussions, and the formal steps that come with major life changes. Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds — Thai families, expatriate couples, international residents — and we work comfortably across those different circumstances.
From the start, the practice has operated on a straightforward principle: that legal support should be accessible, clearly explained, and free of unnecessary pressure. We do not push clients toward any particular outcome. We present what is available, explain the considerations honestly, and let each person make the decision that is right for their own life.

Pornpun has worked in family law for over twelve years, with particular experience in separation proceedings and cross-border family arrangements. She is known for her careful listening and plain-language explanations.
